We all admire confident, bold people. They stand up for their rights, and are able to express themselves in a respectful and calm way to assert such rights without any aggression. Most people tend to confuse assertiveness with aggression. Aggression is not assertiveness. Basically, assertiveness is where an individual stands up for their rights but in doing so, behaves in such a way that they do not violate the rights of others. Assertive behavior clears the way for honest relationships, mutual trust and an open-two-way communication. It involves taking responsibility for ones actions, good or bad as well as the consequences for such actions. This one to two day seminar will teach participants how to enhance their assertive behavior to contribute to their effectiveness in the management and leadership abilities.
