Value-Based Leadership: Choosing the Harder Right Instead of the Easier Wrong

Value-Based Leadership: Choosing the Harder Right Instead of the Easier Wrong

According to the Saylor Foundation, ‘’Values-based leadership means leading by staying true to one’s values. It means leading others by remaining consistent with the leader’s beliefs and never swaying from one’s values’’. More than ever, our World today need leaders with values, integrity, credibility and the ability to stand for what is right despite the pressure to do the opposite. The same cannot be said of our Public and Private Sector Organizations, where rot and mismanagement is having an impact in the ability of these organisations to deliver on their mandates. To be able to stem the rot and mismanagement that is abound in these organisations, there is a need to have Values-based leaders and managers helming them. This seminar is developed to train people to become Values-based Leaders.
